The hose must not be allowed to kink shut while making a bend. Connect the top end of the drain hose to the barbed fitting. 2.Insure that a condensate hose is installed if the optional condensate pump is provided. The attachment point is in the return air. A 1/2” barbed fitting is provided, however, removal of the hose “pigtail” will allow use of a 1/4” I.D. hose.
